Thousands of devotees heading to the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj were stranded in a 35-km-long traffic jam on the Rohtas-National Highway in Sasaram, Bihar. The chaos resulted from Uttar Pradesh Police’s decision to ban the entry of large vehicles into Prayagraj, disrupting traffic flow. Devotees had to wait for hours, with many spending the night in their vehicles, facing hunger, thirst, and cold. Some even resorted to walking on foot. Authorities are taking measures to manage the crowd and ensure smoother traffic flow to prevent further delays.
